Skin tags

Skin tags are very common benign lesions made up of loose fibrous tissue.  Skin tags are frozen for 5-20 seconds, then dry up and crust before coming away. This process can last a couple of days to weeks depending on the size.

Verruca

Verrucas are caused by viruses invading skin cells and grow inwards as they are found on the feet. They are frozen for up to 30 seconds twice during one appointment. They often need a repeated dose.

Warts

Warts are similar to verrucas but grow outwards. They are also frozen for up to 30 seconds to kill the virus.  This often results in blistering over the wart, which is part of the normal process.

Cherry Angioma

Cherry Angiomas are common harmless lesions caused by tiny malformations in blood vessels. They are typically frozen for 5-10 seconds and usually dry up and disappear. Larger cherry angiomas may require a second dose.

Seborrhoeic Keratosis

These are common non-cancerous crusted warty growths on the skin. Keratoses tend to dry up, crust, turn darker and flake away over 1-2 weeks.

Skin pigmentation

Hyper-pigmented areas of skin with excess melanin caused by a number of reasons such as age, the sun, and pregnancy. Skin pigmentation is frozen for 5 seconds to remove pigmentation resulting in minor crusting

Milia

Milia are tiny raised bumps containing keratin and often found on the face around the eyes. They usually flatten and vanish with a single treatment

Actinic/Solar Keratosis

Dry, scaly patches of skin caused by sun damage
